The Petroleum Fund Secretariat has announced adjustments to fuel prices, with effect from today.

The decrease was announced yesterday by Petroleum Fund interim chief executive officer, Advocate ‘Makananelo Kome in a press release.

The pump prices for Petrol 93 and Petrol 95 will go down by M0.20 per litre, Diesel 50 by M0.45 per litre, and Illuminating Paraffin by M0.20 per litre.

The new retail prices for all districts of Lesotho are: Petrol 93 M19.15 per litre, Petrol 95 M19.30 per litre, Diesel 50 M19.85 per litre, and Illuminating Paraffin M13.80 per litre.

The Petroleum Fund is appealing to retailers to adhere to these published prices and warns that non-compliance will result in enforcement actions.

The public is encouraged to report any instances of overcharging to toll-free number 80022004, Advocate Kome said.
